Role and responsibilities
PNA’s founder, Nitiporn Hempstead, is an ex Nanny, a highly-regarded businesswoman and a mother. She understands just how precious our children are and how difficult it can be to balance childcare, a home and a career.
She is also a recognised industry pioneer and, even after 30 years in the industry, she enthusiastically works as part of PNA’s Customer Service Team; receiving calls, selecting candidates, managing interviews and – her favourite duty – meeting customers.
Nitiporn’s resolute goal is to make PNA a byword for respectability and integrity, in an industry so lacking in both.
Mark Linden Hempstead
Partner and co-Owner (responsible for Non-Thai customers)
Nationality: English
Languages spoken: English, French and Thai (basic)
Role and responsibilities
Mark joined PNA in 2009, to develop and manage the Expat side of the business.
His role involves monitoring and responding to email enquiries and providing ongoing training for the Team. He personally conducts internal interviews for all English-speaking applicants, which includes assessing their language skills, verifying their employment histories, validating their work visas and evaluating their social skills.
In addition, his knowledge of international industry and commercial law (including at his sister company, Millennium Law Company Pvt. Ltd.) qualifies him to ensure that PNA is always compliant with current regulations and any new directives the Government might issue, which affect the domestic services industry and Thai Employment Law.
NAN KHIN SAN MOE (FON)
Customer Service Supervisor (for Non-Thai customers) Nationality: Myanmar (Burmese)
Languages spoken: Thai, English and Burmese
Role and responsibilities
Having previously worked for 12 years as a Maid and a Nanny in Bangkok, Fon is better qualified than most to asses an applicant’s abilities against PNA’s exacting criteria.
In the Customer Service Team, she supervises customer calls, manages the database and ensures that all enquiries are responded to within 24 hours.
Once she has established that a Candidate is suitable, she registers them, matches them with compatible families, organises (and escorts them to) customer interviews and resolves any queries.
Fon uses her previous skills as a volunteer, an English teacher and a Nanny to really understand our Candidates, to ensure that your family is blessed with a wonderful Nanny.
Siraprapa Panakaew (Nong)
Customer Service Assistant Manageress (for Thai Customers) Nationality: Thai
Languages spoken: Thai, Laos, Cambodian and English
Role and responsibilities
With a Business Studies & English degree from Buriram Rajabhat University, Nong knows what it takes to help run a successful business like PNA.
She uses her skills to ensure that all our documentation and processes are robust and fit for purpose and, more importantly, helpful to our customers.
As PNA takes its civic and legal requirements very seriously, Nong also prepares and submits monthly reports to the Labor Department (documenting who we are registering and recommending for employment, on behalf of our customers).
In addition, she also helps her Customer Service colleagues with enquiries and operational tasks, greets our customers and provides post-placement support, where required.
Keereerat Thitima (Gam)
Customer Service Assistant
Nationality: Thai
Languages spoken: Thai, English, French (basic)
Role and responsibilities
As with the other Team members, Gam has years’ of invaluable experience working as a Nanny for both Thai and Expat families, having taken care of children, elderly people and pets (particularly dogs). She has a warm and natural affinity with people and always treats others with fairness, sincerity and honesty.
She complements this interpersonal expertise with excellent administrative skills, having studied Business Administration and Human Resource Management at Rajamangala University of Technology, Bangkok (qualifying with an impressive BA).
Always thinking ahead, Gam is a valued member of the Customer Service Team, happy to take full responsibility for all duties, as and when required.
She is also responsible for monthly reporting, meeting, recruiting, interviewing and matching suitable applicants with customers’ families and then accompanying the selected Candidates to interviews.
